Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

This policy explains what personal information ZionAmari Group collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We've written it in plain English on purpose. If anything here isn't clear, ask us and we'll explain it properly.

1. Who we are

ZionAmari Group builds websites and provides AI "agents" that answer phone calls and reply to emails for small businesses. ZionAmari Group is operated by Marcus Weeks (a sole trader trading as ZionAmari Group), who is the "data controller" responsible for your information. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean ZionAmari Group.

You can reach us any time:

  • Email: marcus@zionamarigroup.com
  • WhatsApp: +44 7562 887176

2. The two roles we play

Depending on the situation, we handle information in one of two ways:

When it's about you and us directly

When you visit this website, book a call, download our guide, or contact us, we decide how your information is used. In data-protection terms, that makes us the "data controller", and this policy covers it.

When we run agents for a business

When a business hires us to answer their calls and emails, the information those callers and senders share belongs to that business. We only handle it on that business's instructions. In data-protection terms, we're the "data processor" and the business is the controller. A separate Data Processing Agreement covers that relationship, and each business is responsible for its own privacy notice to its customers.

3. What we collect

From visitors to this website

  • When you book a call: your name, email, and phone number (collected through our booking tool, Cal.com).
  • When you request our free guide: your name and email.
  • When you contact us by email or WhatsApp: whatever you choose to send us.
  • Basic technical data: like your device type and rough location from your IP address, recorded in standard server logs to keep the site running and secure.

When our agents work for a business

Acting on that business's behalf, our agents may handle:

  • Call audio, recordings and written transcripts of calls;
  • A caller's name and phone number;
  • The content of emails sent to the business;
  • Appointment and booking details.

4. Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To reply to you and provide our service — because it's needed to take the steps you've asked for, or to deliver a contract.
  • To send you the guide or occasional updates — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To run, secure and improve our website and service — because we have a legitimate interest in doing so, balanced against your rights.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations — where the law requires it.

5. Calls handled by an AI agent

Our agents are AI, and we believe people should know that — so callers are told they're speaking with an AI agent. To complete a request and keep quality high, calls may be recorded and turned into a written transcript. Where we run an agent for a business, that business decides whether calls are recorded and how long recordings are kept, and is responsible for telling its callers.

6. Automated decisions

Our agents handle routine tasks like answering questions and booking appointments. They do not make decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you, and a human is always available if something needs one.

7. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information, ever. To run the service we rely on a small set of trusted providers ("sub-processors"), who only handle your data to do their specific job for us:

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

8. Sending data outside the UK

Some of the providers above are based outside the UK, including in the United States. When your information is transferred abroad, we rely on UK-approved safeguards — such as the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum — so it stays protected to UK standards.

9. AI and your data

We do not use your personal information to train public AI models, and we set up our providers so they process your data only to deliver the service — not to train their own models on it.

10. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and leads: kept while we're in contact and for a reasonable period after, then deleted.
  • Call recordings and transcripts: kept for up to 90 days, or for the shorter period a business client instructs.
  • Invoices and financial records: kept for 6 years, as UK tax law requires.

11. Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you can ask us to:

  • See the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct anything that's wrong;
  • Delete it, or restrict how we use it;
  • Receive a copy in a portable format, or have it sent to someone else;
  • Object to certain uses, and withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these, email marcus@zionamarigroup.com. We'll respond within one month.

12. Cookies

This website uses only the essential cookies needed to make it work. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we don't follow you around the internet.

13. How we protect your data

Information is encrypted while travelling to and from the site, access is limited to people who need it, and we use reputable providers who take security seriously. No system is ever perfectly secure, but we take real steps to keep your information safe.

14. Children

Our services are for businesses and their adult customers. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top, and significant changes will be made clear.

16. Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK's data-protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office, at ico.org.uk.

17. Contact us
